दिवाली के मौक़े पर इसकी मिठास खोलेगी सबके तालों की चाबी. 😍😍

Today I have made a very different dish than other Mondays because I haven’t used any vegetables for this dish. I have made this dish using wheat, ghee and jaggery! All from 😀

Panjeeri is a dish which is very close to my heart! I remember eating Panjeeri during winters in Delhi. Mom used to make it often and would add dry fruits to it. This used to be our breakfast before rushing to catch our school bus on those bitter winter mornings of Delhi!

Somehow I never made Paneeiri after getting married. Today I was craving for something sweet and this childhood memory just popped up!

Ingredients-
* 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour.
* 2 1/2 tsp Ghee
* Roasted Almonds
* 1/2 cup Jaggery / powered sugar / brown sugar.

Method-
* Add Whole wheat flour in a thick bottomed pan.
* Keep the pan on low flame and roast the flour.
* Keep roasting till the flour turns brown.
* Add ghee and roast again on low flame.
* Roast for about 5-7 minutes and then switch off the flame.
* Add powdered jaggery / sugar and mix thoroughly.
* Again put it on low flame for 2 minutes and keep stirring.
* Switch off the flame and add roasted almonds!

It can be stored in an air-tight container at room temperature for few days.

Enjoy this Panjeeri which is a brilliant immunity booster and a great postpartum food too!
