Basil flavoured Hummus
So here is a dish which can be served as a side dish or the main dish! Absolutely delicious and easy to prepare, this one is loved by all! I have added Basil to hummus which gave it a different colour but added superb flavour!

Special thanks to Minal Popat for suggesting that I add curd to it while preparing to make it creamier and smoother!
Ingredients-
* 250 g Chick Peas (boiled and strained).
* Garlic finely chopped.
* Red Chilli powder 1 tsp.
* Lemon juice (2 Lemon)
* Curd 4 spoons.
* Basil leaves
* Salt according to taste.
Method-
* Blend the boiled chick peas with all the ingredients till a smooth creamy paste is formed.
* Sprinkle Red chilli powder on top and serve.
I have not added any oil or tahini. We like it better without it. Added cheese though!😀
Serve it variety of breads, wafers… be creative!
